Amenity Cards - What are they and do I need them?

As members of the Fripp Island Resort and Country Club, we can offer our guests the ability to purchase access to the resorts amenities during your stay.  This includes the option of playing golf (green and cart fees apply), playing tennis and pickle ball (court fees may apply), using the fitness center, using the resort swimming pools AND eating and drinking at the resort food trucks and restaurants.

Well that depends on what you want to do on your vacation.  If playing golf, tennis or pickle ball are important aspects of your vacation, then the amenity cards may be for you.  If eating at the Bonito Boat House, Sand Bar or food trucks are your thing, then amenity cards may be for you. However, if your vacation  is really about relaxing at the beach, there are a host of really good restaurants within a 10 minute drive of the front gate. See the button below for our favorites.  The Saw Grass Community Pool is also managed by our small property association and is available for your use (access card is in the house).

You can access the beach at all access points other than through the  Sand Bar Club.  You can crab on our crabbing dock and use the Saw Grass private pool.  You can use the Marina store and Spring Tide Market. You can enjoy the beautiful sunsets at the point and sunrises over the marsh.  You can use our golf cart and bikes to cruise around the island and you can use our kayaks to explore the marsh and creeks (we recommend using the beach at the point to put in).

The resorts new owners (as of January 2023) instituted a fee schedule of 12.8% of the gross weekly rental fee plus $50/person/week for the cards.  So if your weekly rental rate is $2,500.00 and you have a family of 4,you will pay $520.00 for the amenity cards for the week.  These fees are charged by the Fripp Island Resort and we pay them as soon as we reserve your cards with the resort.  They are the same fees no matter who you rent your vacation home through.  

Its important to note, that the new owners have taken a very strict policy on requiring each person to have their amenity card with them in order to enter the resort pools, restaurant or order food or ice cream from the food trucks
